Abstract
The research platform Alexandria allows researchers to administrate a personal profile, projects and publications and to put it in the net. In addition the internet users and the researchers are offered serveral services as there are: an automatic newsletter, RSS-feeds of a single researcher/institute/whole university, linking to Amazon-bookstore, statistics etc. Open XML-interfaces facilitate the usage of data e.g. for data warehousing.
