Abstract
Bibliographix was developed because classical bibliographical management systems couldn't work in such a large scale and were not able to support the process of academic writing in terms of creativity support (idea management) and research (in libraries and subject-related data bases) in a right way. Bibliographix is an application, that helps to manage and take over bibliographical data from library catalogues and databases. It is able to import data from the library catalogue and export it to the BibTeX format. It is an easy out-of-the-box-solution for a Windows-based PC. Furthermore there's the possibility of exchange between Bibliographix users. The use of the Software is free since vesion 9. The Support is with costs.
