VRE-Suite (Edumeres.net)

Abstract
The VRE-Suite is a collection of specialized implemented or adapted Typo3-extensions. This builds a base to provide a virtual research environment. The emphasis is placed on the real time collaborative work on formatted text. The VRE can be integrated in an information portal. It’s principally expandable for additional tools. Additional tools can be added in project templates or individual in single projects.

Based on Typo3/PHP. Existing Open Source Typo3-Addtions were partly used, unchanged or modified. The document editing service ZOHO is connected via its API as a web service – the documents will be archived locally.
