The Call for Papers for the sixth and first time abroad Open-Access-Tage 2012 (Open-Access-Days 2012) has been published. Only one session has been open for submitted presentations the previous years, but this years conference in Vienna will be completely based on proposals. Until May 24th is time to submit abstracts to the program committee. The main language of the conference will be German, but English presentations are welcome.
The Call for Papers name the following themes as focus of the conference: e-Infrastructures for Open Access, Opportunities and Challenges in Data Sharing, bibliometric aspects of open access, experience with publication funds and support programs, transformation models for open access, best practices and content strategies for repositories, open access in libraries as well as application and use examples.
After the very interesting Open-Access-Tage last year in Regensburg, you can tensely look forward for this years edition in Austrias capital. The OA-Tage 2012 takes place at the Vienna University from September 26th-27th and will be hosted by the operators of the information platform open-access.net and the University Library Vienna.
