The Repositories Support Project (RSP) is hosting a series of free webinars featuring various interesting topics for librarians and repository managers. The webinars titles are “Advocacy using campaign materials” (June 26^th), “A way of demonstrating the importance of institutional research” (July 3^th) and “Advocacy for the arts” (July 16^th). All webinars are held at 11am GMT, a booking is mandatory on the RSP event page.

The webinar “Advocacy using campaign materials” on the July 26^th will feature a discussion about advocacy issues for repositories including presentations about how marketing campaigns can be used to present advantages of repositories and about the use of social media for repositories managers. The webinar is hosted by Yvonne Budden, University of Warwick and Misha Jepson, Glyndwr University.

A biblometric approach to proof the value of scientific research will be discussed by the webinar “Bibliometrics: A way of demonstrating the importance of institutional research”. Niamh Brennan, Trinity College Dublin, will show her experience and expertise in using bibliometrics and visualization tools to produce business intelligence for her institution demonstrating the value of its research outputs. This webinar should also be in the interest of authors of research publications.

The final webinar “Advocacy for the arts” on the July 16^th will focus on the specific requirements of visual arts repositories. Sarah Hall, Institutional Repository Administrator at the University of the Arts London and Tahani Nadim, Assistant Repository Manager at the Goldsmiths University of London, will bring together their experience and knowledge gained through the Kultur II project and will present on advocacy for the arts.
